Opens
Runs on macOS 12 Monterey (2021) and everything since, including macOS 27 Golden Gate. We expect macOS 28, the next macOS, to be fine too. Nothing in Cobalt Share v12 (build 1204.219) depends on old Apple technology.
On macOS 12 Monterey we support its final release, 12.7.6; below 12.4 it will not start at all.
Apple Silicon support arrived in build 1204.200; 1204.219 is the build to be on.
This is the last build on the earlier version of the 3D modeling kernel. The regressions some customers hit after build 1204.200 moved to a newer kernel were fixed by 1204.219, so 1204.98 is kept in reserve — a fallback in case a new regression appears that it does not share. It is also the build for a Mac stuck on macOS 10.13 High Sierra, macOS 10.14 Mojave, macOS 10.15 Catalina or macOS 11 Big Sur — one that cannot update to macOS 12 Monterey or later. Everyone else should be on build 1204.219.
